Public Advisory - Canada Post Service Disruption
As of September 25, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has launched a national strike. As a result, Canada Post operations may be disrupted, which could affect mail delivery to and from the Municipality of Whitestone.
Property owners are reminded that they are still responsible for paying property taxes by their respective due dates, regardless of postal service interruptions.
Payments can be made through online banking, by e-transfer to treasurer@whitestone.ca or in person at the Municipal Office, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Cheques may also be dropped off in the secure drop box located next to the main entrance of the Municipal Office.
The Municipality encourages all residents to sign up for the Property Tax Pre-Authorized Payment Plan, which can be accessed through the Municipality’s Property Tax page.
